At TechTrain, we are on a mission to inspire future generations to become tech leaders, not just tech consumers. That’s why we design programs that are engaging, dynamic, and fun. With every lesson, TechTrain learners build new skills and grow in confidence.
We aim to be the leading global provider of online tech education for kids and teens, fostering digital fluency, problem-solving, and confidence to thrive in a tech-driven world.
TechTrain provides personalized, globally accessible online technology education for students 5-15, fostering curiosity and innovation. Through expert instruction and hands-on projects, we develop coding, AI, and digital creation skills, alongside critical soft skills needed to thrive
in the digital age.
TechTrain's journey begins
In 2017, recognizing digital literacy as an essential new skill, TechTrain was established as a curricula provider to meet the demand of international schools and language centers in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. By designing bespoke learning pathways mapped to international standards in tech education, the team gained invaluable insights, and forged a lasting culture of quality. In 2019, driven by desire to directly ensure student outcomes and end-customer value, TechTrain evolved from curriculum provider to physical school with its own best-in-class coding and STEAM-based learning center in HCMC.
Practicing what we preach
COVID-19 brought unprecedented uncertainty to the world. And we were not immune. With a beloved student community, and after consulting available data, intuition, and most importantly, our core values - problem-solving, adaptability, resilience - we resolved to face the storm head-on. TechTrain evolved once again and moved online - an undeniably tumultuous period of transformation - forced, fast, and fraught with challenges. A strong, cohesive team emerged from this metamorphosis to carry our offering to regional markets, where TechTrain's Mission and offerings have resonated strongly, not least the new learn-from-anywhere learning format.
TechTrain Virtual Academy goes international
We believe knowledge knows no bounds. With a curriculum founded on the STEAM learning approach, developed by our own expert team, TechTrain proudly delivers creative tech programs across 3 continents and counting. Safe, quality-focused, and fun, our coding, 3D modeling, and game development programs are thoughtfully designed for virtual learning, allowing exploration of new horizons from anywhere. The TechTrain experience is not only exciting for students but remarkably convenient for families; learning and creativity are now unleashed from the comfort of home!

Hello! My name is Seb, and I’m the Academic Manager at TechTrain. I bring over 20 years of experience in education, primarily in the ESL industry, where I’ve taught learners of all ages and led academic teams across multiple organizations. My most recent role before TechTrain was as Senior Learning Experience Manager at Apollo English, where I oversaw the nationwide Active Hybrid program and contributed to company-wide innovation in blended learning.
Beyond classroom teaching, I’ve spent more than a decade researching, designing, and managing academic programs and products. I’ve led multi-departmental teams, trained teachers, and helped shape engaging learning experiences that deliver real impact.
Though my roots are in language education, I’m deeply passionate about teaching technology to children. At TechTrain, I channel that passion into creating learning journeys that are meaningful, interactive, and future-focused.
